Community Foods

www.communityfoods.co.uk  Although this company only supply their products wholesale ( ie no mail order or direct consumer sales) you will see their products in health food shops and retailers around the UK.  The quality of their products is very high and they specialise in organic and dried fruit, nuts, seeds and even eco trainers!.  They are also the company behind the brand Crazy Jacks and suppliers of Orgran which are available in most supermarkets, health food shops and online. 

 

Tilquhillie Fine Foods

This company supplies pure oats and other oat based cereals which are certified as gluten free.  I have purchased from them directly when they have exhibited at The Gluten and Allergy Show and I know their products are available in a few outlets.  I don't think they have a dedicated website at the moment, so I am listing their phone details as they do supply their products mail order.  Tel:  01330 822037.

Doves Farm

Doves Farm manufacture and supply a wide range of gluten free flours and specialist gluten free baking products like xanthan gum and pure  vitamin c (also known as asorbic acid) .  All of my recipes use Doves Farm Plain Gluten Free Flour and I highly recommend them.  Doves Farm  supply most of the major retailers and many independents including Tesco, Waitrose, Sainsbury's and Coop to name a few.  They also have a mail order service and a website so you can order direct from them if you prefer.

 

Pampered Chef

Lavida Food

I discovered this company last year whilst doing a demonstration at Coeliac UK's AGM in Edinburgh.  I recently met up with them again at The Allergy Show in Olympia.  They are UK suppliers for one Italy's best selling gluten free pasta Molino di Ferro.  It is probably the best gluten free pasta I've had and I highly recommend it.  They are also distributors for Bob's Red Mill who are specialist suppliers of lots of gluten free flours, oats and bread and cake mixes.  I use a lot of sourghum flour and Bob's Red Mill is guaranteed gluten free.  You can check out their full range of products on www.lavidafood.com or email them directly at info@lavidafood.com
